In February 2021 Myanmar was taken under military coup.

Since then, things have escalated and the country remains in a crisis emergency situation. The military continues to inflict it’s power through violence, fear and control over the people of Myanmar.

Our children at Precious Gems Home remain safe but our current budget does not account for the extreme increase to the cost of living which continues to rise sharply. We cannot know how long this situation will continue or full impact this coup will have on the people of Myanmar.
