Our Sponsorship Program

Sponsorship is a monthly donation which goes towards the care of a child or woman in need. Your monthly gift of $40 Canadian or $35 US will have a big impact on the lives of the people we serve.

Christine, born in January 2024 is twin to Emson.  Christine and Emson were brought to our Buseko Home at Grace Academy in Zambia in May 2025. They had been living with their elderly grandmother who was unable to provide for herself never mind growing twins.

Now at Buseko House, Christine is receiving the nourishment, medical support, and loving attention she desperately needed—giving her the chance to grow strong, healthy, and hopeful for a brighter future.

Benson (born 2023) spent his earliest months in unstable circumstances, relying on the kindness of a well‑wisher who eventually could no longer support him. In October 2025, he was brought to Social Welfare for help and placed at SOH Buseko Home, where he now receives the care, safety, and nurturing support he desperately needed to begin building a stable and hopeful future.

Twin brothers, Abishai and Stewart are 11 years old.  They are double orphans, meaning both parents have passed.  They lived with their elderly grandmother in Masala, but she was unable to care for them. They were brought to Grace Academy by Social Welfare in Fall 2023.

Koreen ZAM.F.0389

Koreen, born in 2010, came to Grace in March 2025 after struggling through years of instability and poor access to treatment. Prior to coming to Grace Academy she grew up in harsh conditions that led to severe treatment challenges and the need for third‑line medication.

Since arriving at Grace Academy, in Zambia Koreen has regained strength through consistent nutrition, medical support, and a stable environment. Now she is thriving—embracing a future filled with renewed health, confidence, and hope.

Born July 23, 2024, Miracle spent her early months in vulnerable circumstances. Despite her mother’s love, mental health challenges and lack of support left them living on the streets of Ndola. On March 11, 2025, Miracle was welcomed into the care of our Buseko Home, where she is now safe, cherished, and surrounded by the love and stability every child needs to thrive.

Chimwemwe Zam.M.0365

7-year-old Chimwemwe “Chichi” was born January 3, 2017. Both his parents have passed away, so he is a double orphan.  His father passed in March 2020 and his mother January 2021.

After his parents passed away, Chimwemwe was living with his grandmother in Ibenga, Zambia. Sadly, she was unable to care for him and he was he was brought to Seeds of Hope through Social Welfare.    He was welcomed into Grace with open arms on August 29, 2024.

Shekaina was born in 2023. Her mom was just 14 years old at the time.
After Shekaina’s mother was recently relocated to a safer environment in another city, on May 6, 2025, Shekaina was welcomed into Seeds of Hope, Buseko Home..
With no official birth records, we’ve lovingly given her May 6, 2023 as her birthday—a symbol of her new beginning.

Remember was born on April 27, 2020. He is a single orphan. After his mother passed away, he was left in the care of his father. But his father—unemployed and facing significant personal challenges and was unable tomeet even the most basic needs of a growing toddler. In April 2025, we welcomed Remember into our Buseko Home for children under the age of 5 at Grace Academy, where he is now safe, much-loved, and thriving.

Comfort was born in 2019, but day of birth is not yet known.  1 of 3 siblings, he is the middle child, and a single orphan who lived with his visually impaired 19-year-old brother.    After the death of his mother, his father remarried and abandoned the children as he said they were cursed. This is because Comfort’s elder brother is visually impaired, and his younger brother has cerebral palsy.

Aum (born 2015) entered care November 2025 after facing significant hardship in his early years.

Despite the challenges, Aum’s spirit and determination shine brightly. He is a healthy and exceptionally gifted student, especially in Mathematics.

Aum carries a story of resilience—proof that even in the face of instability and hardship, hope and potential can thrive.

Nim, born July 27, 1999, came to live at Nuu Rain in June 2021. Nim has been in care since she was a baby.  She has no known living relatives.

Nim struggles with mental illness. Since coming to Nuu Rain, she has been taking her medication and is doing well.

Ing‑On, (born 2014),  joined our Seeds of Hope family in May 2025 after enduring profound hardship and danger in her living environment.

We are so thankful that Ing-On is with us at Nuu Rain, where she is safe, supported, and thriving—surrounded by care that helps her heal, grow, and rediscover her confidence and potential.

Aom (Kannikar) THA.F.0082

Birth date:  April 9, 2016

Aom was nine years old when she found a safe haven at Baan Isara, our home for girls at the Rays of Hope site. Tragically, she grew up in an abusive environment, and due to struggles with a drug addiction, her mother is currently incarcerated and her father’s whereabouts is unknown. Despite these hardships, Aom now has the opportunity to heal and thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Kanlaya is 20 years old. She has a mental disability and is unable to care for herself.  She was living in a homeless shelter before coming to Nuu Rain.
